President Emeritus:
Definition, Nomination and Function
1. This is a lifetime achievement Honour bestowed to a long serving (at least two terms) President who has dedicated his/her services for the advancement of the Structural Engineers World Congress (SEWC).
2. Nominations can be done by at least two elected members from the SEWC Board. At least a positive vote of the two third of the voting members need to confirm this Honour.
3. The general function of this post is to maintain continuity advisorial, ambassadorial, promotional and available at the behest of the President or/and the Executives to maintain momentum.
4. A President Emeritus is not to run again for any elected office of the SEWC

Resetting the term of the SEWC
For these two years and 4 months from January 2020, we had been confused by the Covid-19 and our activity was not well. We would like to think the official new term started at May 2022 and the length of the one-term is four years.
